Permaculture workshop

Join us for a immersive weekend in nature! Less than an hour’s drive from Strasbourg and Colmar, you will find the village of Maisonsgoutte nestled in a picturesque valley.

Discover the world of permaculture, a rich and inspiring movement. We will spend our time in the garden and the forest, combining theory, practice and collective learning. The course is open to anyone interested in permaculture, with or without a garden.

When we think of permaculture, we often imagine gardening techniques: raised beds, mulching and no-till farming. However, permaculture is much more than that. It is a comprehensive design method and even a philosophy that you can use in different areas: gardening, renovation, associations, businesses.

Your trainers

We are Roos and Julien, we live in Maisonsgoutte since 2022,  where we started Le Nouveau Printemps. We have transformed the large grassland behind our house into a permaculture garden and planted over 200 trees and shrubs in recent years.

Roos started out gardening in a small communal garden in the Netherlands, where she followed Permaculture Design (PDC) in 2022. She is a member of the Natural Garden Association in the valley. Julien is an experienced trainer in food and agricultural transition, as well as being a certified Deep Time Walk facilitator. He works with professionals and university students.
